Our work in Bedford Square supported the refurbishment of two distinctive Grade II listed Georgian houses. We were appointed to provide structural and civil engineering services which included a visual appraisal of the buildings to gain an understanding of their construction and their condition. We carried out a detailed analysis of the site applying modern building regulations to noth historic and newly installed structures. Other works involved assessing expected future settlement movements of the foundation and proposing underpinning works required to allow for the installation of a new lift.
