We were delighted to support the construction of new residential properties at Brentford Football Club. The construction created 910 apartments in 12 tower blocks up to 17 storeys in height. It also involved public realm improvements, car parking, commercial developments and a new hotel. Walsh provided expert advice to guide our client’s team through the complicated and lengthy statutory approvals and planning processes. Our expertise helped the project to successfully progress to the construction stage. We were also appointed to act as the Responsible Engineer for the contractor and prepare the ‘Approval in Principle’ documentation. This included successfully resolving queries from Network Rail and Thames Water. The latter gave the project consent based on a major sewer build over and access solution we proposed. This, and the other approvals we achieved, led to project funding being secured.
