Camden Goods Yard Basement Design Recognised for Excellence
We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for a Ground Engineering Award 2023 in the UK Project with a Geotechnical Value of between £500K and £1M category for our work on Camden Goods Yard.
“On the Camden Goods Yard project, we were able to combine our expertise in structural and geotechnical engineering to maximum effect, delivering a value engineered solution which realised multiple opportunities for efficiency in the basement design,” comments Garreth Joyce, director of Walsh who was the lead engineer on this project. “We were able to make significant financial, programme and embodied carbon savings whilst promoting a safer working environment. It’s been great collaborating with St George on this project so I’m delighted the team has been recognised for all their hard work.”
